Kynaston Relocations

Early 2006

The bandwagon rolls on. Christmas is normally a quiet time for the crew. Plenty of wine, food and oveeeer indulgence on all fronts. Well that was the plan. The festivities for 2005 should have followed the same old plan. Hunker down and stay warm, just like everybody else.

We will post the pictures of the team in the coming weeks, if we can stay still long enough?

                 Crew Picture?

The crew resting on a Sunday. France has LGV movement bans on Bank Holidays and Sundays. Even more days around holiday periods.

       Tight Spaces?

It gets tight for trucks in some towns. When you visit your new home abroad give a passing thought to how your furniture will arrive.

October snow in sunny Spain

Sunny Spain for your holidays? Rest assured they also have all the variations that we get at home, with all the extremities.

  Brighton to Chatel

The crew delivering Ewan McDonald's furniture from Brighton, UK to the ski resort of Chatel on the Italian/French border. Note the snow chains. Not seen the light of day over the last few years but pressed into service on this occasion. In France it is compulsory to carry them between October and March when you are adjacent to or in the mountainous areas. Not all companies bother but we take it seriously. The rules are there for a reason.

We have completed 28 sorties into France and Spain. Four internal French moves. Three were the second time our customers had come back to us. One cross border move from France to Spain. Delivered soup, tea, baked beans, sausages, custard, two bottles of gin, Branson Pickle and aromatic candles. No move is too big or too small!
One family moved from France to the Isle of White. Two years ago they moved from South Wales to France. We took into our store 90 cubic meters of household goods.
We have also brought back 16 tonnes of kiln dried oak for a local sawmill. Destined for kitchen units and flooring from bespoke outlets throughout the UK.

AND ALL THIS SINCE CHRISTMAS 2005.
(Christmas 2006 was no different!)

Perhaps it indicates that we have the formula just about right? For your next move give John a call or E-mail us at the office. Kynaston Relocations may just be the outfit you are looking for? If we are not, there are other carriers but are they right for you? The choice is always yours but before you decide why not talk to our customers for their opinion? Nothing ventured nothing gained.
